“I had a dream of flying gemstones …”
Creating a gift for an individual with a clear vision, but one that appears difficult to grasp, is a true challenge. A challenge we were delighted to take on.
The intention was to create a generous and truly extraordinary gift. The head surgeon of a large orthopedic hospital contacted us, a man who had helped many people achieve a better quality of life. Long hours and great responsibility require the support – and, sometimes, forgiveness –of an understanding partner. His goal was to honor her commitment with this piece of jewelry.
The challenge was made more complex by the fact that the recipient was a goldsmith’s daughter with an expert eye and the highest standards in terms of craftsmanship and design.
With that in mind, we wanted to create a classic yet modern bracelet with gorgeous, precious gemstones – “ideally without visible settings, floating and visible from all sides.” We are delighted at how perfectly the vision of the wearer is expressed in the finished piece of jewelry. The ideas and wishes of our customers greatly enrich our work – we look forward to hearing yours.
